Spanish airline “Binter” inaugurated its new customer service offices in Agadir on Saturday, in the presence of representatives from several travel agencies.
The new offices are located in the city center, with another information and sales point at the Agadir-Al Massira airport terminal.
In a statement to MAP, Ibrahima Khalil Niang, Africa Area Manager at “Binter”, said that the Canary Islands-based company had opened these new service offices in Agadir in order to get closer to its customers and partner travel agencies and provide local services.
Binter” currently serves several destinations in Morocco, including Marrakech, Dakhla, Guelmim and Laâyoune, adding that in February 2024, the company will begin connecting the Canary Islands with Madrid.
Through these new routes, “Binter” aims to expand its network in Morocco, he stressed, noting that the Kingdom occupies an important and strategic place in “Binter”‘s commercial policy.
The airline began connecting Agadir to the Canary Islands in 2012, and has carried over 100,000 passengers on the 2,241 flights operated throughout this period.
Currently, “Binter” operates every Sunday with Gran Canaria airport, while during the summer season, from July to September, this weekly service is extended to a second flight every Thursday.
From February 2024, “Binter” will begin connecting the Canary Islands with Madrid from Monday to Sunday, with 4 round-trip flights from Gran Canaria airport and a further 4 from Tenerife Nord.
These new connections will improve Agadir’s connectivity with the Spanish capital, as travelers from Morocco will be able to stop over at Gran Canaria airport in just 2 hours.
